As many of you know, I have a few musician friends. Some are well known but most are normal, meaning they barely survive, especially these days. Brandi Shearer's music and voice touch Janet and me emotionally. We have attended concerts of Brandi's and have spoken to her. Brandi is the only musician that Janet and I offered to host on a house concert for, in our own house. Our messy and constantly changing calendars made this impossible, but we tried.
Other friends, and non-friends, of mine have been able to finance recording and movie projects and technical devices with the 'kickstarter' service. It's a great way for you to vote for projects you want to see completed. I am asking you to check out Brandi's voice and style and consider making this project possible.
I consider this a good thing to do. I hope that some of you see it in the same light. If this project completes, then it will mean a lot to me. Any contributions, of any size, to this effort will not be in waste. I'm hoping to be a significant part of the success of this project. I'm also planning on supporting this project in other ways than kickstarter, like on my web page.
