The internet has evolved into a set of interconnected, and rapidly evolving communities. Web sites like this are getting phased out by better interaction between sites like Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and various blogging sites.

I'm using all those tools but I think it's important to have a site for my own interests that bridges those gaps.
