Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak and Electronic Arts co-founder Trip Hawkins will hold keynote talks at this year's Apps World event in London.

Wozniak, who started up the technology giant with Steve Jobs in 1976, will field audience questions and discuss his experiences in the industry at the free-to-attend Developer World on the morning of October 23.

Hawkins will discuss the gaming industry and mobile apps development as part of the Gaming World workshop on October 22.

"The app explosion is at the heart of the most pervasive technology change in the history of consumer behaviour, the modern equivalent of the discovery of fire," said Hawkins.

"Steve Wozniak was a big help to me when I founded Electronic Arts and in a way, he started it all. It is an honour to share the Apps World stage with him."

Neon Play CEO Oli Christie, who recently won the Queen's Award for Innovation, will join Hawkins as a speaker at the Gaming World workshop.

Members of the public can register for their free Apps World pass online now.
