Starting in Steve Jobs’ garage 35 years ago, two young entrepreneurs created a company that has widely come to represent innovation and technology.

Steve “Woz” Wozniak spoke to young entrepreneurs and professors about his role in the formation of Apple and offered advice to budding enterprisers yesterday during the third annual Entrepreneurship Day.

The Co-Founder of Apple Computers Inc. Steve Wozniak has arrived in Armenia. 

Today Steve Wozniak had a meeting with the Armenian IT business community representatives. He received a Certificate of Honor from Synopsis Armenia for his humanistic vision, enthusiasm and boundless energy in promoting innovation in the spirit of entrepreneurship around the world and in Armenia.

Apple Computer, Inc., co-founder Steve "Woz" Wozniak expressed strong interest and support for wind turbines and the wind power industry in a special keynote speech at the American Wind Energy Association Fall Symposium last week, saying of wind turbines, “I wish my home were overlooking a whole array of them. I just love them.”

Like all Apple user groups around the world (Apple computer clubs), the members of the Apple Corps of Dallas were collectively and personally saddened at the passing of Steve Jobs. We dedicated our October 2011 meeting to sharing our memories and favorite stories about him and his life. There are two Steve's in Apple's history and it is hard to separate their lives. So, as part of our meeting honoring Steve Jobs, my tribute video includes a little known story of an experience that cemented their relationship. In fact, Steve Jobs says that without this experience there would have been no Apple Computer Company.

"His name is Steve. He likes to do pranks like you do, and he’s also into building electronics like you."

When Bill Fernandez introduced Steve Wozniak to Steve Jobs, he unwittingly changed computing history. The two were friends almost immediately, each impressed with the other's intelligence and abilities, and would go on to form Apple in 1976.

But before they did that, they played some awesome pranks around their hometown, both alone and as a team.

The state of California made October 16th "Steve Jobs Day," and on October 19th, the company he co-founded with Steve Wozniak celebrated his life on campus in Cupertino. The photo here, provided by Apple, shows CEO Tim Cook addressing throngs of people who came to the memorial.
