Greeting's Woz,
Read your brief article on "The Microsoft Monopoly" and found
it to be very interesting. I especially liked your response
to the Browser thing and found it to be a very equitable solution.
But, sad to say, I hardly believe Microsft would do divest
it's browser and pay Netscape (AOL) for lost revenue as that
would be admitting to a wrong. I would be very interested
on your comments regarding Bill Gates and Microsoft's constant
clamoring about "Freedom to Innovate". For me, I've grown
very tired about hearing that from them, given the actions
they have committed against Apple, Netscape and other aspiring
companies in the past. It would seem to me that their "Freedom
to Innovate" is referencing their rather dispicable behavior
and pension for destroying anything or any company that might
be construed as competition to their "almighty" Windows. I
find their statement to be a complete contradiction in terms.
Please do put the unaltered editorial you had written for
the LA Times on your website as I would be very interested
in reading it. God knows we can't seem to get the truth from
the news media.... Thank you Chris H.
